Lux Travel DMC expands Vietnam trips for Christmas and Lunar New Year

Lux Travel DMC is broadening its tailor-made Vietnam itineraries for international travelers planning Christmas and Lunar New Year trips, aiming to combine festive-season travel with deeper cultural experiences. The Hanoi-based DMC says the expanded offering adds flexibility around lodging, transport, food and private activities during two peak travel periods.

Why it matters: - Lux Travel DMC is targeting two of the busiest travel windows for Vietnam: Christmas and Lunar New Year, when international demand can make planning more complicated. - The expanded trips are designed to give travelers more control over pace, comfort, destinations and activities. - The company is positioning Vietnam as a destination where holiday travel can also become a broader cultural trip.

What happened: - Lux Travel DMC expanded its Vietnam travel offerings ahead of the Christmas season and the Lunar New Year period, also known locally as Tết. - The Hanoi-based Destination Management Company is marketing private, customized itineraries for international travelers. - The trips combine structured planning with tailor-made services. - The company says the goal is to help travelers explore Vietnam through culture, food, landscapes and daily life.

The details: - The itineraries can be adjusted to match trip length, preferred destinations, interests and travel style. - The expanded offering covers accommodation, transportation, dining and experiences during the holiday periods. - Lux Travel DMC says travelers can build trips around cultural discovery, gastronomy, relaxation, nature, heritage or a mix of interests. - A 10-day private itinerary can connect major cities, heritage sites, rural experiences, coastal landscapes and food-focused stops. - Christmas travel in Vietnam can include seasonal decorations and activities in cities, hotels, restaurants, cafes and local communities. - Tết offers access to Vietnamese family traditions, food, rituals and the start of the lunar new year. - Travel during Tết may require extra planning because transport patterns and some business hours can differ from other times of year. - Lux Travel DMC says its consultants and local experts can account for those seasonal conditions when designing itineraries. - The company says private travel can also include local experts, regional cuisine, traditional crafts and less-standard perspectives on destinations. - Mr. Ha Tien Hung, Assistant Director of Sales & Marketing at Lux Travel DMC, said Christmas and Tết show different sides of Vietnam and can both be part of a meaningful tailor-made trip. - Lux Travel DMC was founded in 2005 by Dr. Pham Ha. - The company specializes in luxury tailor-made travel in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. - Lux Travel DMC has headquarters in Hanoi and offices in Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City. - The company says its Vietnam programs are developed with local experts.

Between the lines: - The launch reflects a wider shift in luxury travel toward personalization, access and local experience rather than only premium lodging and private transport. - By tying holiday travel to cultural immersion, Lux Travel DMC is trying to make Vietnam more attractive to travelers who want more than a standard holiday package. - The pitch also acknowledges a practical reality: festive travel in Vietnam can be rewarding, but it requires flexible planning.

What's next: - Lux Travel DMC will work with travelers and international partners to define destinations, trip length, hotel style, activities and service level before arranging the trip on the ground. - The company is expected to continue promoting custom Vietnam itineraries through the Christmas and Lunar New Year travel seasons. - Travelers interested in more information can visit the company's social channels and other listed platforms.

The bottom line: - Lux Travel DMC is betting that holiday travel in Vietnam sells best when it feels private, flexible and culturally specific, not one-size-fits-all.
