Typhoon Bualoi Kills Eleven in Vietnam
The powerful storm has inflicted significant damage across northern and central Vietnam, destroying homes, fishing boats, and public infrastructure. In addition, widespread power outages have affected large areas, exacerbating the already dire situation.
Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed his deepest condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the typhoon. He also urged local authorities to act quickly to address the extensive damage caused by the storm and to manage the aftermath, particularly the flooding that has followed in its wake.
Efforts to search for the missing and provide aid to the injured are ongoing as emergency teams work around the clock.
